Lightwater is well signposted, turn off A1 onto A61 towards Ripon, then take A6108 for 2.5mi. Manchester approx 2hr drive, Preston approx 90min drive, Hull approx 90min drive. Plenty of on-site parking available.

Set in 175 acres of gorgeous North Yorkshire Parkland – just North of Ripon - Lightwater Valley Theme Park, Shopping Village and Birds of Prey Centre is renowned for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.  

The thrilling theme park line-up comprises some amazing rides, including Europe’s longest rollercoaster - The Ultimate, as well as the stomach churning, mighty Eagle’s Claw and the splashtastic Wild River Rapids.   Plus, new for the 2010 season, dare you step aboard the terrifying Whirlwind or risk a one-on-one encounter in Raptor Attack’s abandoned mineshaft?

Located in the grounds of Lightwater Valley Theme Park, you'll also find an awe-inspiring Birds of Prey Centre.   Visitors also have the opportunity to see how these amazing birds are trained and handled, as well as being treated to dramatic flying shows at 2:00pm and 4:00pm every day.   Oh, and if you have time, don’t forget that Lightwater shopping village is open all year round and is home to an oasis of retail therapy that appeals to all ages and tastes.

Gates open at 10.00. Rides & attractions open at 10.30. Park closes from 16.30, depending on time of year.
