Bodelwyddan Castle's magnificently restored rooms are the perfect setting for nineteenth century collections from 3 national galleries. Bodelwyddan Castle has something for everyone, regardless of age, interests or abilities.  Enjoy a varied programme of temporary exhibitions and events, formal gardens, woodland trail, bird hide, aviary, World War One practice trenches, adventure playground, interactive exhibits, Victorian toys and games room and a free audio guide. The estate has been used as a family residence, an army recuperation hospital and officers' mess, army training facility and a private girls' school, Lowether College. Evidence of this can be seen as you tour the house and grounds. On site facilities include Caffi Castell (specialising in traditional home baking and freshly prepared snacks) 'Craft & Design' (exclusive works by North Wales based artists) and the Castle gift shop (wide range of gifts suited to all pockets). Disabled access is to the ground and first floor only.
