Location: Located at Dobbies Gardening World off Edinburgh City Bypass at Gilmerton exit or from Sheriffhall Roundabout - just follow signs. Bus: Lothian Region Transport 3 from Princes Street (Shops Side) Mon-Sun. Plenty of free on-site parking available

Description: Walk through a tropical paradise and observe stunning exotic butterflies flying around you. Iguanas roam free and quail and caterpillars can be spotted darting through the jungle flora. There are tarantulas, stick insects, leaf-cutting ants, scorpions and frogs! You can get up close and personal at twice daily 'Meet the Beasties' handling sessions. We can even help cure your phobias! In the Reptile Room you'll find lizards, a chameleon, giant pythons and yellow anacondas! The nocturnal zone displays bugs and beasties that can be seen going about their night time activities, with the leaf cutter ants nest and glow in the dark scorpions! Every Friday afternoon you can view the Snake Pit, where our royal pythons will be fed! With monthly themes throughout the year, there will always be a new weird and wonderful creature to come and see.
