The Palace Stables Heritage Centre is a restored Georgian stable block located on the Palace Demesne situated next to the impressive Primate's Palace, formerly the home of the Archbishops of the Church of Ireland from 1770 until the 1970s. Guided tours are available that tell the story of the Demesne and through Living History costumed interpreters recreate both the grandeur and the squalor of the Georgian period. These tours also give you access to the Chapel, School Room, Withdrawing Room, Tack Room Coachman's Kitchen, Servant's tunnel, Ice House and at weekends into the Demesne.
