The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, is one of Ireland's foremost visitor attractions, illustrating the way of life and the traditions of the people of the north of Ireland. At the open air Folk Museum, 60 acres are devoted to illustrating the way of life of people in the early 1900s. Costumed visitor guides, working buildings and exhibits all bring our stories to life. Indoors the Folk Gallery features a number of interesting exhibitions including Farming and Food and Meet the Victorians. The Transport Museum boasts the most comprehensive transport collection on Ireland. The Irish Railway Collection is displayed in an award-winning gallery. Alongside the Irish Railway Collection are the Road Transport Galleries. These Galleries house a fine collection of vehicles ranging from cycles, motorcycles, trams, buses, fire engines and cars.
