Description: Imposing mansion within attractive parkland. Facilities include a working kitchen of 1825, where costumed interpreters carry out daily chores including cooking based on 1820s recipes. Exhibition area and 'Story of Callendar House' plus two temporary galleries, regularly changing exhibitions, a history research centre, gift shop and Georgian tea shop at the Stables. Major permanent exhibition 'William Forbes Falkirk' also the new Antonine wall exhibition.
