Description: This magical children's zoo is right next to the Thames in London's beautiful Battersea Park. See monkeys, lemurs and coati, then crawl down a tunnel to meet the meerkats. Talk to the mynah birds and laugh with the kookaburras before chatting to the parrots and visiting the otters. Wriggly snakes and slimy giant snails are waiting to say "welcome to our home!" as are the shy little mice in the Mouse House. Down on the Barley Mow Farm lives Bianca the miniature Shetland pony, our lovable donkeys and our intelligent pigs, and (at certain times) our helpful animal-keepers will let you get up-close and personal to the rabbits and guinea pigs. Relax with a good cup of coffee and a light snack in the Lemon Tree Café, then it's on to the swings and slides - or maybe drive the tractor and work the diggers. Interactive and fun play area with water and sand play, diggers and a real life fire engine. Great fun for dads too!!
