Location: 0.5 miles off A30 Exeter to Honiton oard. From Exeter exit at Pattesons Cross and follow signs. From Honiton, exit at Iron Bridge and follow 'Fairmile' signs. Plenty of on-site parking available

Description: Originally laid out in the eighteenth century as 220 acres of Capability Brown parkland and gardens, here you'll find an ark-full of animals with woodland paths and trails and everywhere beautiful flowers, shrubs and magnificent champion trees. A free visitor map will guide you to the 4,000-Beech Hedge Maze, a real challenge with its five hedge-leaping bridges and stunning central look-out tower. Then on to the birds of prey with their summertime displays, the otters in their holt, the Pirates Playground, the pets and the red squirrels, and the Aquatic Centre housing one of the best collections of tropical and pond fish in the West Country. At the Coach House you'll find the Seahorse Trust, a gift shop, and the restaurant serving delicious home-cooked meals and cream teas using the very best local produce. We even offer free Escot letter-boxing, an unforgettable nature-based treasure hunt. Escot is unique!
