The No. 1 'Modern Wonder of Wales' boasts the largest single-span glasshouse in the world and is set in more than 500 acres of fantastic, unspoilt, rolling Welsh countryside. The Great Glasshouse is home to some of the most endangered plants on the planet from six Mediterranean climate regions: Western Australia, Chile, the Canaries, California, southern Africa, and the Mediterranean basin. There is a unique and historic double-walled garden, lakes, ponds and walks, a theatre, licensed restaurant, shop, gallery, bog garden and bee garden, Physicians of Myddfai Exhibition and Apothecaries' Garden, children's farm, children's play area and discovery centre. Whatever your age, there is something for you at the most visited garden in Wales. Whatever time of year it is, the stunning views and remarkable sights and smells have to be experienced to be believed. But, be warned, you may not be able to see and do it all in a day. A new Tropical Glasshouse is currently under construction.
