From M27 take Junction 3 onto M271 signposted to Southampton Docks. At roundabout turn right onto A35 to Lyndhurst and Bournemouth. Follow brown tourist signs through two roundabouts then turn left into Deerleap Lane.

Why not spend a day in the delightful setting of natural New Forest woodland. Enjoy our large collection of European and exotic wildlife. Bask in the warmth of Tropical Butterfly House (open Easter to the end of September). Our animal glasshouse is home to otters, ferrets, harvest mice, hedgehogs etc. Into the Night Barn to check on the badger and foxes and polecats. A stroll around the woodland pathways gives you the opportunity to see 3 species of otters, 15 species of owls, 4 species deer, mink, pine martens, Grishkin our female lynx and Scottish Wildcats etc. Dottie and Loki, the wandering tame fallow deer may be around to check your pockets! In Wallaby Wood you can see the free roaming wallabies, powerful wild boar and our new European wolf enclosure. Throughout the day “Keeper Talks” are an opportunity to meet the animal staff and ask questions. A nature quiz trail entertains and occupies all our young visitors. The Woodland Bakehouse offers you a well earned rest with drinks, hot and cold snacks. Finally, take a few moments in our Wildlife gift shop to find that special souvenir. So much to see so much to do."Open all the year round except: December 25th and 26th 10.00am to 5.30pm Winter hours of opening 10.00 am to dusk. Last advised entry at least one and a half hours before closing. The Park caters for everyone, from children through to senior citizens and the wildlife trail is an easy stroll. Time required The average visit is aimed at a 3 to 4 hour period, and there is no queuing. The Park is wheelchair accessible, but the wildlife trail is not altogether flat."
