Established in 1984, Redwings is now the largest horse charity in the UK, working to provide and promote the welfare, care and protection of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Redwings Oxhill Rescue Centre is the charity's first visitor centre established outside East Anglia. The site is home to more than 50 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys including cheeky pony Dylan, Will the former Police horse and dinky Shetland Wensley. There is a brand new gift shop, information centre and café, and we hope the centre will serve to make more people aware of the charity's work and provide enjoyment and education for a new generation of supporters.
