Description: Amazonia is Scotland's only tropical indoor rainforest attraction, packed full of exotic animals. This offers a new fun and educational experience for all ages. It's a unique place to learn and explore, giving insight into the life in a tropical forest. Learn about the secret life of some of our rainforest inhabitants. Our reptiles, rare birds, insects, monkeys, amphibians and fish. Marvel at our rare tropical plants, waterfalls and ponds. Amazonia is packed full of exotic animals including, poison dart frogs, tarantulas, pythons, fruit bats, assassin, beetles, geckos, chameleons, marmoset monkeys, toucans, parrots, leaf cutter ants and tropical fish. Visitors are given the opportunity to take part in our daily animal handling sessions, where we try to dispel some of the 'Hollywood myths' surrounding creatures such as tarantulas and pythons.
