New for 2007 - Come face to face with some of the world's most poisonous sea creatures in "VENOM". In this dangerous and fascinating new feature you will meet a variety of deadly characters including sea snakes, lionfish, porcupine puffer fish and moon jellyfish. Weymouth Sea Life Park and Marine Sanctuary have launched a unique Turtle Sanctuary that house several captive-bred sea turtles from the Cayman Islands. This amazing new facility will offer incredible views of these endearing, ancient animals and help raise awareness of the desperate plight of wild sea turtles, whose nest sites are being lost to tourist developments and whose numbers are in dramatic decline. With a unique mix of indoor and outdoor attractions our spacious seven-acre park provides a great day out whatever the weather. Highlights include an incredible otter sanctuary, a collection of comical Humbolt penguins, resident seals and the amazing Splash Lagoon, where adults can relax whilst our younger visitors can have a "splashing good time." Round off your day with a visit to our sister attraction Pirate Adventure Mini Golf for some swashbuckling action. Guided tours by prior arrangement.
