Description: Where can you see the world's largest moth? Or discover a butterfly with the 'feathers' and 'eyes' of an owl? And where will you find a butterfly with wings so delicate you can see through them? Surprisingly, in a quiet corner of Kent, and it's the only place of its kind for miles around. Watch the kids' eyes light up as they stroll in a tropical 'rainforest' setting. Here you will discover swallow tails, fritillaries, dainty heliconids and the giant Atlas moth as they flutter freely among hibiscus, lantana and giant fruiting banana plants, feeding on the nectar. We welcome school and adult groups, individuals and families, and offer free guided tours with one of our expert staff. After admiring the butterflies, why not visit our gift shop or browse our Nursery and Plant Centre or relax in the Red Admiral licensed Restaurant and sample mouth-watering home cooking. Visit and open your eyes to the wonderful world of butterflies! Coach party groups welcome.
