The award-winning National Wetland Centre Wales (one of the world-famous WWT centres) is situated on the northern shore of the Bury Inlet, with stunning views over the estuary and Gower. Whether you're a serious bird-watcher or just looking for family fun and relaxation, you can enjoy a day of discovery all year round, whatever the weather. Bring your own binoculars or hire them at the centre - you'll want a closer look at the amazing wildlife that inhabits this important national site. The landscaped grounds with acres of pond, lakes, streams and reed-beds provide a picturesque home for hundreds of the world's most spectacular ducks, geese, swans and flamingos - many of which are so tame, they'll feed from your hand. During summertime be sure to see lots of ducklings, cygnets, goslings and flamingo chicks. There's also a hands-on 'Discovery Centre' and outdoor play areas for the children, as well as our new canoe safari and bike trail.
