Since the Centre's creation in 1991, its role has been to demonstrate birds of prey to the public, while educating the public that many of these birds are now endangered species. To assist the re-population of the birds of prey, the Centre is now part of a worldwide breeding and conservation programme. The displays at the Centre take place in a purpose built display area allowing the public to observe dramatic fly-bys, swoops, and the awesome gracefulness of flight that these birds can achieve. Birds that are not on flying duty are viewable in purpose built aviaries and cave dwellings. Members of staff are on hand to answer any questions that you may have and to make sure your visit is a most enjoyable one. We have a gift shop, a tearoom and a video room should the weather turn nasty. There are also picnic area's and a children's play area. All areas are suitable for wheelchair visitors.
