Description: At Guiting Power, in the heart of the Cotswolds, lies the Cotswold Farm Park, Britain's first ever Rare Breeds farm to open to the public. Alongside its serious aims of conservation and education, the whole family will find themselves easily entertained whatever the weather. Very much a working farm, there is a comprehensive collection of rare breeds of British farm animals as well as lots of activities for the youngsters; rabbits and guinea pigs to stroke, lambs and calves to bottle feed, tractor and trailer rides, battery powered tractors and good safe rustic-themed play areas both indoors and outside. There is also a gift shop and Cotswold Kitchen. Audio tours are available for adults; a wildlife walk and plenty of space for a picnic. The Cotswold Farm Park also has its own 40-pitch camping and carvanning site, with electric hook-up, toilets and showers, so visitors never have to leave!
