The ruins of a thirteenth-century Cistercian Abbey are set in the delightful gardens of a sixteenth-century manor house with gardens reaching down to the River Calder. On site facilities include a picnic area within the kitchen garden, a coffee shop, gift shop and small exhibition area plotting the history of the Abbey. The conference house offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation, with a 4* Quality in Tourism rating, weddings, celebration functions and conferences.
