Description: Look out for special events through the year! Built in 1919 from war-surplus equipment, it carried sand from the local quarries, and now offers a relaxing 70-minute ride round the edge of town and out into the rolling Bedfordshire countryside. Most trains are hauled by authentic museum-piece steam engines. Come and discover the Leighton Buzzard Railway!
