Location: On A583 a short distance from M55. Plenty of on-site parking available.

Description: World Horse Welfare: Penny Farm was opened to the public in June 2001 by HRH the Princess Royal. It is home to around 50 horses and ponies in over 100 acres and has many specialist facilities to allow us to rehabilitate horses and ponies giving them the chance of a new life through our loan scheme. Our volunteers undertake guided farm tours, relating the histories and progress of those equines on view in the yard and surrounding paddocks. Penny Farm has an informative visitor centre, which shows the work of the World Horse Welfare both at home and abroad. The coffee shop offers traditional, home made food fayre and occasionally plays host to children's' birthday parties 'with a difference'. Penny Farm is a great day out for all the family.

Opening Times: All year  Weds, Sat-Sun & Bank Hols 11.00-16.00. Closed 25 Dec-1 Jan.
