Devoted to Doctor Who Exhibition
02/04/2008
The Hertford Museum, Bull Plain will be hosting a Devoted to Doctor Who Exhibition until 12th April.
Collectors and fans have come together as devotees of the Doctor to create this marvellous exhibition. On view will be a full size, locally made Dalek ( called Zek), Tardis and K-9
Memorabilia of all kinds including postcards, books and jigsaws, replica costume - a Colin Baker outfit and a Sylvester McCoy jumper. Also starring are some models made by 11 and 13 year olds, including a Dalek!
There is a quiz for fans to test their knowledge. For younger visitors, they will have the opportunity to dress like a Dalek or the Doctor himself! The idea for this exhibition came from local illustrator Jeff Cummins who designed many of the front covers of the well known Doctor Who Target Books.
Some of his work will be on view and on sale in the museum.
The Herford Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-5pm and admission is free!
Please note: This exhibition is a local exhibition which is not affiliated, sponsored by or endorsed by the BBC.
